Greencore's Convenience Foods Division is positioned in some of the most dynamic sectors of the Convenience Foods market, predominantly operating in the innovative customer brand sector but also with a selection of branded foods. Our businesses are focused around specific expertise and category areas; all of these businesses hold a significant share of their markets.
Our customers include retailers, foodservice providers, manufacturers, and petrol forecourts in both the UK and the US. With 22 manufacturing sites and around 11,000 colleagues, we are a significant player in a number of exciting growth markets.
In the UK, Greencore is a market leader in sandwiches, Italian chilled meals, branded chilled meals, chilled non-dairy desserts, chilled sauces, cooking sauces and pickles and Christmas cakes. Supply is normally in bulk quantities only although we also have a unique nationwide chilled delivery service that supplies direct within the petrol forecourt and convenience sector (see Greencore Food to Go) .
Greencore is a leading manufacturer in the chilled food market in the North East, East Coast and Mid West regions of the United States. The Group has exciting plans to continue to build on its base there to grow a scale convenience foods business, serving multiple retailers and convenience stores with food to go and prepared meals solutions.
