Nobody wants waste — but when it happens, we make sure it goes to a good place.
At Greencore, when surplus food is still safe to eat, we work with partners like FareShare, The Felix Project, Company Shop, and local charities to redistribute it to those who need it most.
So far in 2025, we’ve donated nearly 175 tonnes of surplus food—that’s over 416,000 meals (WRAP data)!
A huge thank you to everyone making this possible. Together, we’re helping fight food insecurity and reduce waste. 💚

The GroceryAid Impact Report 2024/25 has been released highlighting the difference our financial, emotional and practical support has made to grocery workers over the last year.
Providing over 139,000 incidents of support (a massive 76% increase on the previous year), we have spent over ÂŁ6.5million supporting colleagues through tough times.
The Impact Report clearly demonstrates rising demand across all our services, and we are proud to offer support where it’s needed most.
