Colleagues form Greencore Kiveton were out in the community last week, painting the Friendly Bench, which is situated in the middle of Kiveton Park.
The Friendly Bench is the brainchild of 13 year old schoolgirl, Alana Habergham-Rice, who is so proud of her local community that she fundraised so that the village could have this bench for people to sit, talk and have a coffee.
For the upkeep of the bench, Alana fundraises throughout the year and when we heard that the bench needed painting, our Kiveton team offered their services to help Alana, so the local community can carry on using this fabulous bench.
