Our Food to Go team at Northampton has recently presented two donations of £6,000 to charities in the local community.
Every year, colleagues at our Northampton site take part in a Charity Golf Day with a team from one of our customers. As part of the competition, the winners receive a charitable donation for their local charity.
This year, the Greencore’s Northampton team won the Charity Golf Day and received two cheques for £6,000 each.
The Northampton team have since donated the funds to the Cynthia Spencer Hospice in Northampton and the Neo-Natal Unit at Northampton General Hospital.
Our Northampton site has had a long-standing relationship with Cynthia Spencer Hospice and has raised funds from the site’s Family Fun Day in support of the Hospice for many years.
