Greencore has been named ‘Food to Go Manufacturer of the Year’ at this year’s British Sandwich Awards, otherwise known as The Sammies.
Winning the top award at the annual event in London yesterday completed what was a very successful evening for Greencore.
In addition to this overall title Greencore’s customers won the individual categories for ‘En-Route Sandwich Retailer’, which went to M&S for British Airways; ‘Convenience Retailer’, which was awarded to The Co-op and ‘Multiple Retailer’, which was awarded to Morrisons.
Commenting on these awards Kevin Moore, Managing Director for Greencore Food to Go said: ‘This is fantastic recognition for the work that our teams do with our customers to help them continue to succeed in this exciting, dynamic market. I’m proud to be part of this great team.’
