Greencore Convenience Foods in Warrington was recognised with a Tesco Values Award for Own Label Innovation of the Year at the Tesco supplier conference last week.
Tesco Prepared Foods Category Director, Jack Brabin presented the award to the team following the launch of the new ‘Just Cook’ range.
The range includes the following products:
- Smoked Pancetta & Mushroom Spaghetti
- Roasted Pepper & Feta Spaghetti
- Prawn Tomato & Mascarpone Linguine (launching later this month)
The range has been developed to offer the consumer a fresher alternative to a ready meal, which can be cooked in a pan on the stove within 5 minutes.
