The Greencore team in Wisbech has recently supported two local organisation in the run up to Christmas.
The site team organised a collection of toys for the local branch of the Salvation Army to be donated to children from less fortunate families. These were received with gratitude from the Salvation Army.
In addition, and as part of a long standing four year partnership, the site donated ready meals and other treats to Ferry Project. Ferry Project is a local social enterprise and charity that helps the homeless by providing accommodation and giving its clients the skills they need to enable them to live independently.
Commenting on the donation, Moira Pollard Operations Manager at Ferry Project said: “Thank you again for the wonderful donation of treats for our clients. Greencore will make everyone’s Christmas a little bit more special by giving so generously. A wonderful gesture and very gratefully received.”
