Colleagues from the Greencore site in Boston were delighted to roll up their sleeves and support a local school in creating a new garden area.
The children at Hawthorn Tree School in Boston designed a new garden area and called upon volunteers to support in bringing the area to life, as part of the school’s ‘Ground Force Day’.
The volunteers assisted by moving soil and rubble and helping to restore and paint reading benches and meeting points.
As a result of the new gardening area, the school has achieved level 1 status as a Royal Horticultural Society Gardening School.
