Greencore is proud to renew its membership with Youth Employment UK, an independent, not for profit social enterprise that works with employers and other organisations to change the youth employment landscape for young people in the UK.
As a leading employer of 13,600 people, it is important for Greencore to ensure that it provides the conditions for everyone, including young people, to thrive and prosper as they develop their careers with us.
In 2021, we published our first Young Persons Policy, which recognises our duty to ensure the safety and well-being of young people at Greencore. By confirming our commitment to Youth Employment UK and the Good Youth Employment Standards, we are proud to stand alongside them in their mission to give young people the skills, careers support and tools to fulfil their potential.
Commenting on our Youth Employment UK membership, Natalie Rogers, Director of Talent, Diversity and Inclusion at Greencore said:
“We believe that we ultimately differentiate ourselves through our people and therefore we strive to create a culture where our people can be themselves at work and fulfil their potential. Our commitment to Youth Employment UK and the work they lead on, including the Good Youth Employment Standards is fully aligned with our aspirations at Greencore.”
Laura-Jane Rawlings, Founder and CEO of Youth Employment UK said:
“I am delighted to welcome Greencore into our Membership and to recognise the excellent work they are doing to meet the Good Youth Employment Standards. Greencore put huge effort into their work to support young people and to develop a workforce for the future that is both inclusive and representative. Their leadership will be of real value to our Membership Community.”
