James Burgess, innovation chef in our Prepared Meals division, is representing Greencore at this year’s Grocery Cook of the Year competition, which is organised by the grocery industry charity, GroceryAid.
James will compete against his peers from other food manufacturers and retailers in this Friday’s semi-final, which will be judged by Brian Turner CBE.
The finalists will then have the opportunity to show off their skills to the French-born chef and restaurateur, Michel Roux OBE.
Grocery Cook of the Year is an annual competition to discover great chefs from within our industry. It aims to promote cooking skills and celebrate the discovery of cooking talent.
