Last week our Hull and Selby sites joined forces and played host to South Hunsley’s AS Level Business Studies students for an Industry Awareness Day. The purpose of the visit was to give the students a taste of the local food industry and to put their recent modules into practice.
The students learnt more about the food industry in general and Greencore specifically, heard about our processes and had a chance to view our operations first hand. The group was then split into workshops where they received an overview of lean principles and product development.
