Our team in Atherstone showed their generosity just before Christmas when colleagues donated prizes for a raffle that raised £750 for Coventry Children’s Hospital. The night shift team at the site also raised £500 for Save the Children in the run up to the festive period.
HR Business Partner Carla Boardman said: “Once again I was humbled by the efforts our colleagues went to supporting our fundraising. A number of the team visited Coventry Children’s Hospital the week before Christmas to hand the money over in person and I know they were very moved by the experience. I also know how grateful the hospital were to receive our donation.
“I’m delighted with how much we’ve raised as a site within a short period of time to help those less fortunate than ourselves. The Christmas fundraising plus the money (£1162) we raised for Macmillan from our coffee morning in September show just how generous our colleagues are. For a relatively small site we have the biggest heart! Thank you.”
