Greencore’s Martin Brooks and Lewis Ward visited Barlby High School before Christmas, thanks to our Selby site’s sponsorship of the Book Buzz program. This initiative aims to promote reading among Year 7 students and allows students to choose and keep a book from a selection curated by industry experts.
This initiative not only supports students in becoming competent readers but also fosters their development by empowering them to choose their own books.
Martin and Lewis also attended a “Bookie Brekky” at Barlby High School, where students received the books they had chosen.
