The Felix Project’s Mission is:
“Free of charge, The Felix Project collects good quality food from suppliers. We check it’s fresh and then deliver it to charities so they can give vulnerable people a healthy meal or snack. Put simply, we’re saving food and changing lives.”
Over the past 6 months our Park Royal site, in conjunction with central Group support has been working across the supply chain to secure agreements to provide excess stock of sandwiches to the Felix Project, which are in turn re-distributed to charities, homeless shelters, food banks and sheltered accommodation across London.
Yesterday saw Park Royal make the first delivery to the local depot where the food is stored, sorted and then delivered, where needed around London by a group of volunteers.
In addition, the site leadership team has committed to carrying out volunteering at the depot.
