Leading convenience food manufacturer, Greencore, is this year celebrating 200 colleagues across its business on completing its bespoke professional development programme ‘Line Coordinator Framework’, or ‘LCF’ for short. Last month a cohort of 17 colleagues, based at the company’s chilled soup and sauces manufacturing facility in Bradley Stoke, Bristol attended a special presentation event.
Commenting on the Line Coordinator Framework and the graduates specifically, Stephen Lewis, General Manager at Greencore said:
“I am incredibly proud of the colleagues that have completed our Line Coordinator Framework programme. Everyone has had to work extremely hard and in challenging circumstances due to the pandemic. This programme enables our people to develop their skills, with the opportunity to further progress their careers with us.”
Andy Holland, Greencore Learning & Development Specialist who delivered the LCF programme at the Bradley Stoke site said:
“We want to make Greencore a great place to work and to create a great experience for all our colleagues. We feel strongly about supporting our people in growing as professionals – this is part of our ‘Grow with Greencore’ ethos.
“I get a real kick out of seeing people grow, so for me it was a such a pleasure to be able to celebrate together with my colleagues.”
LCF is a 12-month professional development programme designed to give Greencore colleagues the opportunity to learn new skills in order to develop their careers with the company. Line Coordinator Framework differentiates itself from other professional development programs in that it is grounded in the work that our colleagues do each day and has a creative, more practical hands-on approach to learning.
