At Greencore we believe that no good food should go to waste.
In our most recent sustainability report we set a target for 2022 that 100% of surplus product is donated to our communities and we do this through working with organisations such as FareShare.
A great example of this is the work that our team at Northampton is doing with FareShare to ensure that good food reaches those most in need.
In the three months from April to July Greencore Northampton donated the equivalent of 6,405 via FareShare to 115 charities. This is just one example of how we, across Greencore, aim to achieve our 2022 target.
