We’re excited to welcome 22 colleagues, who are starting their careers with us this week, and we have a fantastic programme of activities to ensure their career gets off to a great start at Greencore.
The colleagues, who were recruited over the summer, join us as Engineering Apprentices, Technical Graduates and Degree Apprentices. They are embarking on bespoke development and/or education programmes, lasting between two and four-plus years, ensuring they get valuable career opportunities underpinned by a structured development programme of learning, giving them a great experience, exposure and education.
Commenting on the activities this week, Hayley White, Early Careers Manager at Greencore says:
“This is a tremendously exciting time for everyone involved. We are thrilled to be welcoming the new starters this week. It underpins our investment in people and our ‘Grow with Greencore’ ethos, where we invest in supporting our people on their learning journey and realise our inclusion and diversity aspirations by creating more opportunities for people.
“Earlier this year, we were delighted to be accepted as a Youth Friendly Employer and we are committed to supporting young people in building a career in our industry.”
The new starters will take part in a three-day induction in Warrington this week. The first two days will be hosted at the Peace Centre in Warrington and the third day will take place at our state-of-the-art ready meals manufacturing site, also in Warrington. They will tour the site and have the opportunity to meet and speak with members of our management team, including the Group Chief People Officer.
