Greencore’s Food to Go facility has this week been subject to a three day IMS (Integrated Management System: OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001) audit.
Both the OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 are internationally recognised standards for H&S and Environmental Management systems.
The standards are designed to help businesses put in place the policies, procedures and controls needed to achieve the best possible working conditions, workplace health & safety, and environmental management aligned to internationally recognised best practice.
Using these standards can also provide assurance to external stakeholders that safety risk and environmental impact is being measured and improved.
Over the course of the recertification audit, both of the auditors noted:
- Major Non Conformances
- Minor Non Conformances
As such the site has been reissued its certification to both of the standards.
This is fantastic result, and underlines Greencore’s commitment to keeping people healthy and safe and to efficiently using and respecting all resources.
