Several of our degree apprentice trainee managers and graduates recently agreed to be Greencore Brand Ambassadors. Earlier this week they got together to start building plans for how we can raise awareness, both with existing colleagues and potential new recruits, about the great career opportunities that exist within Greencore.
The fun-filled day included presentations from senior managers to help support them in creating their plans – exploring topics such as branding, recruitment, budget setting and project management. The group then split into 3 teams and started identifying what they think we should do as a business to support our recruitment campaigns.
Talent and Development Manager Nova Jackson said: “It was fantastic to spend a full day with our early careers talent looking at how we should be marketing the business to encourage others to come onboard. There were some great suggestions put forward from those who attended and everyone was enthusiastic and keen to get involved.
I’m really looking forward to putting some of the ideas into practice as we go out to colleges, schools and recruitment fairs over the coming months. They also had some great ideas about how we further use our social media channels to raise awareness of Greencore so we’ve got lots to work on.”
