On the 8th June, our site in Kiveton hosted a fantastic event for 20 students from the University of Leeds to give them the opportunity to experience what it’s like to work at Greencore.
The students were taken on a tour of the factory, both the High Risk and Low Risk areas, and witnessed the fast-paced manufacturing environment in full production.
Our Technical Team then presented facts about the business, both our UK and US sites, with a full overview of the HACCP/TACCP courses, followed by lunch prepared by our Development Chefs and a brief from our New Product Development teams.
The day was concluded by advice given from our HR Department, and one of our own University of Leeds graduates, on careers, progression, our Technical Graduate scheme and the meaning behind The Greencore Way and our key principle of People at the Core.
