Meet Jack Robbins. He has recently joined the Greencore team in Atherstone as part of the Government’s Kickstart Scheme in the role of Site Administrator. The scheme supports fully subsidised placements for 16 – 24 year olds and helps to provide a first foot on the jobs ladder, with the opportunity for young people to learn skills for the future.
Commenting on his new role, Jack said;
“The Kickstart Scheme has given me an opportunity to expand my skill set in an area I never thought I would be working in. It’s provided me employment at a company that values its staff and provides training to new employees to make them feel comfortable in the role they are now in and with a development plan to grow within the company. My first few weeks have been busy, but I have already learned new skills I never would have gained if Greencore didn’t take new starters from the Kickstart Scheme.”
